UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State girls’s gymnastics head coach Sarah Brown introduced the addition of two athletes on Nationwide Signing Day. Ashley Maul and Kalea McElligott are set to affix the Nittany Lions subsequent summer time.
Penn State returns two NCAA Regional qualifiers from the 2022 season in senior Cassidy Rushlow and sophomore Isabella Salcedo.

Ashley Maul

Maul competed beneath coaches Laurent and Cecile Landi at World Champions Centre. In 2022, she was a nationwide qualifier and completed 9th place on beam and 20th within the all-around. Within the Area 3 Championships, she completed first place on beam, second on flooring, and third all-around. Maul was the 2021 Texas State Champion in beam, flooring, and all-around, with a second-place end within the vault.

Gymnastics Background:
McElligott was coached by Tammy Marshall, Kelly Roughan, and Annia Hatch at Infiniti Elite. She was a nationwide qualifier in 2022, ending 9th within the all-around.
