The City of Guelph and Guelph Chamber of Commerce are happy to announce that Hilary McCann is becoming a member of town’s Vacation spot Advertising and marketing Group (DMO) as its advertising lead starting as we speak.
Following the profitable implementation of the municipal lodging tax (MAT), town partnered with the chamber, town’s chosen not-for-profit DMO, to develop and implement a strong vacation spot advertising plan that can make Guelph a premier place to journey for work and leisure. Because the DMO’s lead contact, Hilary will work intently with Go to Guelph to proceed constructing robust partnerships inside the tourism trade.
Hilary’s senior-level expertise in each advertising and communications with the Authorities of Ontario and United Approach, amongst different employers, can be invaluable towards shaping town’s vacation spot advertising plan. Hilary is an avid traveler, runs a journey weblog, and has first-hand expertise of tourism all over the world.
Implementing the MAT and hiring a vacation spot advertising lead in partnership with the Chamber because the City’s DMO is an consequence of the 2022-2026 Financial Growth and Tourism Technique, and helps town’s objective of constructing Guelph as a must-see customer vacation spot in Ontario.
